CHILDREN OF THE CROSS

ACTIVITIES :

The school organizes many co-curricular activities to develop diverse talents.                            
(1)  Stage Activities - Dramatics, Elocution, Quiz, Debate, Talents Contest, Song and Dance (classical, modern & folk)
(2)  Music - Guitar, Keyboard, Violin, Drum Set and Indian Instrument (trained teachers from "Trinity College" London)
(3)  Art & Design - Fine Arts, Paintings, Drawing & Designing.
(4)  Games & Sports - Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Handball and Cricket (school have trained Instructors), Karate, P.T., Drill and many other Indoor games.
(5)  Hobbies - Art & Craft (clay model, paper mache), Gardening, Needle-Work, Handicraft, Nature Study, Film Show.
(6)  Literary - Different languages poetry, recitation, elocution and debate competitions are held. Wall magazine and Class magazines are published regularly.
(7)  Competition - The school students are divided into four divisions called the "HOUSES" in order to promote a healthy spirit of competition among the students.
(8)  Extra Activities - Educational Tours, Physical Training, Picnic Party, Leadership Training and other Social Service Programmes are held regularly.
Individual attention is given to students who take a lively interest in all the cultural activities we encourage. Other physical training will also be imparted under a qualified teacher. Every student must take part in open air drill. The P.T. master supervises all aspects of physical training which is compulsory for all students. Due emphasis is laid on physical development through a regulated system of games, drill and other forms of physical education.
Children are taken out periodically for Nature Study.
A Prize Distribution Ceremony will be held at the end of the school session.
